This type of system allows to process materials such as municipal or industrial waste and make the material suitable for burning in incinerator.

The European legislation requires that the fuel reaches a calorific value of at least 1500 Kj/kg and that the organic fraction should be removed in order to better reduce the moisture (humidity) content.
